, spring has sprung and Prom Season is upon us,

   Every spring we help The Prom Shop clean and collect prom dresses for at-risk girls in the Austin area.  Recently, we distributed those dresses with the Prom Shop founder, Kim Peters.  She was featured as ABC News Person of the Week and a camera crew followed us for two days while they filmed lucky girls receiving beautiful dresses to wear to prom. We are so proud of Kim and what she's accomplished and we feel fortunate to be a partner with this organziation. Be sure to pass along that we collect formal dresses year-round at any of our eight locations.

Make Everyday Earth Day

   We take our responsibility to the environment very seriously at Westbank Dry Cleaning.  We are one of only a handful of Certified Environmental Drycleaners in Austin. 

   We use a safe, odorless, biodegradable hydrocarbon solvent. These same types of hydrocarbons are used in waterless hand sanitizer and some cosmetics.  Hydrocarbon is mild on clothing and has proven to be an effective alternative for people with chemical sensitivity.

   We recycle our hangers and our plastic bags.  Pick up one of our convenient hanger caddy's to make recycling even easier.
