Westbank is a proud supporter and drop off location for the Prom Rack.

The Prom Rack provides prom attire for both young men and women in the foster care system. Each child is treated to a day of special attention from head to toe and is outfitted with full attire for their prom.

The organization also provides free prom dresses to Central Texas high school girls who financially qualify at a community-wide event.

This year's Free Prom Dress Giveaway will take place on March 24, 2012, from 4:30-8:30 p.m. at Mount Sanai Baptist Church, 5900 Cameron Rd., Austin, TX 78723

Donations of current prom dresses, like new shoes and accessories can be taken to any of our eight locations year-round. We do not accept tuxedos or men's formal wear.

Please see our donation guidelines below:

• Dresses should be no more than 5 or 6 years old and in good shape of any size
• We do not accept dresses with broken zippers, rips or tears or permanent stains.  We do not accept wedding dresses
• Dresses should be clean and on hangers
• We do not accept tuxedo's or men's clothing
