In the beginning...

My wife Angie and I grew up in Austin, so we feel so fortunate to work in a city that we love. We opened Westbank Dry Cleaning at 3300 Bee Caves Road in the Westbank Market Shopping Center in Austin on April l, 1993, April Fools Day.

Westbank's goal was to provide high quality dry cleaning and laundry service in an open, well designed location. The equipment is visible from the counter because customers appreciate seeing the process and we like them to know what great care we take with their clothing. We take great pride in our work. I personally guarantee customer satisfaction.

As Austin experienced rapid growth in the last decade so did our business and family. Angie and I had two sons during Austin's high-tech dot-com boom. We opened our second location at the Village of Westlake in July of 1996. The Westlake location featured a commercial laundry plant. We no longer had to outsource this service and could provide a higher quality product. In May of 1998 we opened a third facility at 35th and Jefferson that was state of the art. This facility allowed us to combine our dry cleaning and laundry into one location and fine tune our quality and standards to a level that makes us stand out from our competitors. A few very busy months later we were proud to be the first business to open in Davenport Village. Most recently we introduced Westbank to our new neighbors in Tarrytown at Casis Village and hung out our shingle in Austin's dynamic evolving downtown scene at the Frost Bank Tower. There are now six Westbank Dry Cleaning locations to serve you and more on the way.

Westbank Dry Cleaning has become a leader in the industry in the city in which we live. Westbank Dry Cleaning could not have grown without the loyal customers who have trusted us with their clothing for over 14 years. The greatest compliments we ever receive are the return business of our customers and the referrals they make to friends and colleagues. Our customers truly become our friends. I get to know our customers, and it's a real honor to be a part of this community.

Our commitment to community involvement with Westbank Dry Cleaning's Project School Bell is just one way of showing our gratitude to our customers and community. Supporting education and our children supports everyone's future, and we feel strongly about that ongoing responsibility. Thank you for your loyal support.
